The Only Way is Essex – Brentwood Becomes The UK’s Top Property Hotspot

Brentwood has become the UK’s newest property hotspot. This town located in the county of Essex has a population of 49,463 and is most famous for the TV program The Only Way Is Essex.

According to new research by buying agents Garrington Property Finders, using Land Registry data, house prices in Brentwood have risen 16% in the last 12 months which is the highest increase throughout the UK.

This suggested increase has resulted in property prices within Brentwood increasing by £64,289 making the average house price for that region becoming £457,314.

The second highest price rise in the last year was in Canterbury, in Kent, where the average house gained rose by 16% also meaning an increase in £35,899 in value.
