MR AND MRS GRIFFITHS FAST PROPERTY PURCHASE
When Mrs Griffiths' mother died, she and her brother were concerned about leaving the house empty before it was sold. This was especially concerning as both siblings, who are in their sixties, live in Scotland several hundred miles from their mother's house in St Helens. The market was stagnant and they didn't want the cost of upkeep, particularly as it was in the middle of winter.
They were also concerned about squatters or a break-in as the house was clearly not being lived in.
Mrs Griffiths' brother saw an advertisement for National Homebuyers in one of the Sunday papers and called them to find out more. Four weeks later they had a cheque in their hands and considerable peace of mind.
‘'It was so quick and easy', recalled Mrs Griffiths.
She continued, ‘'There was no travelling backwards and forwards and we saved money on council tax and heating. We were very happy with the service we received, there were no hiccups and the money came through very quickly.
‘'We didn't achieve the full market value but for us the peace of mind had a high value.'
