Many people may be facing financial difficulties as a result of the storms which battered large parts of the UK this week.
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Rics) has published some figures, showing how much it costs to repair specific damage caused by high winds and driving rain.
Winds hit speeds of around 80mph in some places and this inevitably led to damage to roof tiles, walls, fences and trees.
Andrew Thompson from Rics said that people living in certain areas will have to pay more for repairs, potentially leading to financial difficulties.

"Building costs in Greater London are about 14 percent above the national average," he commented.
"Prices also vary across the capital - you tend to find that prices rise the further into town you go so building works in the London postal districts are about eight percent higher than in outer London.
"In terms of repairing a roof, you might be only looking at adding £100 to your bill, but for more costly repairs location is a bigger factor," continued Mr Thompson.
